Tattoo Aftercare Routine: Caring for Your New Tattoo After Sticker Removal

Wearing the sticker while showering, swimming and exercising

Showering while wearing the sticker is fine, but it's best to keep the time spent in the shower to a minimum.

Water can weaken the adhesive of the sticker, which allows unwanted contaminants to enter the sticker and increases the risk of infection. It is also important to pay attention to the temperature of the water. Too much hot water can separate the bandage from the skin, causing skin and tattoo irritation.
